Notes: Really a great piece from Karkat’s point of view! Ties in the ancestor element nicely. A good, quick read, though a sad one.

Summary: He walks like a cat who has tape on his paws, and has had tape on his paws for a very long time, and who never expects to ever again walk without scrunching miserably from side to side in a tangle of self-loathing and confusion. It hurts to look at him, but it hurts more not to.

Notes: Completely adorable, wonderfully emotive, read now.

Genre: AU, Dream Bubble, doomed timeline, sadstuck

Summary: At the end of everything, Jade does everything she can to ease their passage into nothing, leaving John to lie upon the checkerboard with time to kill and a lifetime to live in a second.

Notes: I highly recommend this fanfic. It has 2 or 3 typos, but it doesn’t take away from the quality. Best fic I’ve read in a while. It has blood, but not enough for it to be a trigger, I suppose.

Then he’s set to work in a scene with up-and-coming pornstar Karkat Vantas. And at first John thinks he’s a huge asshole, but after being forced to hang around him for a while (due to filming and whatnot) he starts to actually enjoy Karkat’s company. And then John realizes that maybe he’s not as “not a homosexual” as he thought.
